The BITD Bluewater Desert Challenge is one of the most extiting races of the year long Best In The Desert race season. Bluewater Desert Challenge includes 2 races, on Saturday and on Sunday. Each race has its winner, while the one who gets the most points during the weekend, is crowned as an overall winner.
Bluewater Desert Challenge races are short and fun and take place in Parker, AZ. The weather is usually great and UTV’s start early and are usually done by noon so you have the entire afternoon to either enjoy the big Trophy Truck race or simply load you and your team on the boat and go enjoy the cool river!
On Saturday, much earlier than sun rises above the Colorado River, Bluewater Desert Challeng prepare for the drag race style start. The Bluewater Desert Challenge is a drag race covering 24 miles of mostly sandy terrain.
Sunday’s race would again start in the dark with much much rougher race course. On day 1 UTVs get to race on a fresh race course but on day 2 its a different story. Now all of the unlimited 4 wheel vehicles have raced on the course thus changing everything about it, adding massive race grooves that make it hard for even the UTVs running on 30″ tires.
The next Bluewater Desert Challenge will take place on October 6-9 in Parker, AZ. So don’t forget to buy tickets and bring your boat, because spectators will be able to watch races right from the middle of the Colorado River!
