Mt. Bross – Alma, Colorado

The track log starts on Route 9 south of Breckenridge near the town of Alma, CO. Turn west and start an easy climb up Mt. Bross. There are areas to stop and read about the old Joshua Trees in the area. Trees end at about 11,600 feet. Continue on an easy climb to the top. The top is 14,256 feet and is flat and larger than a football field. The views from the top are wonderful. Return the same way you came to Route 9. Turn left for Breckenridge and right to Fairplay, Colorado.
